We take air safety for granted - a few links

When you are aware of air safety it's suprising how often you notice it in the media.
While I am sure there is considerable effort expended to decrease airpalne crashes, the reality is that when there's an engine failure, the drop to the ground.
I just don't want them flying over head when there's have a problem.

Here's a few links:

Toronto Airways has a horrible mechanical safety record, and these pilots are practicing over your heads... and they will lie and tell you that the planes are safe and pilots well trained - I'm a pilot and flown planes for Toronto Airways and will tell you that they are not.

They also have several noise corridors (404 and 407) that they could safely use to approach and depart the airport, but they refuse to use it. They are arrogant hateful people, like an aggressive driver with road rage... they do this because they can! Causing you pain and worry - as with the road rage driver - is what they get off on - the power to victimize you and your family.

The Sifton brothers are just like this... as a legacy to their father and with the instruction and blessing of their mother, they will never agree to closing the airport - she has made that clear several times! What they are doing now with talking about closing is posturing for financial aid since only with subsidies could they keep this airport open. So hit them there, make sure at all levels of government pull funding, that subsidizing a private airport to the tune of 10s of millions a year must stop!... When they have to pay all the expenses out of their pocket, they will give up on the airport, and your homes will be safe. If they want to keep this private airport open they must pay the costs themselves (that seems to make sense to most) and not demand this from your taxes.

One final note, make your complaint personal to the airport operators (Airport Management / Manager) and the Sifton family, making it personal might make them a bit more agreeable to your concerns... yes... I mean write them at their home addresses, call them and complain directly to them... making it personal.

Good luck to you all.

Can some one post all the home addresses and phone numbers of the Siftons and Dave Dayment (airport manager)? Also why is Nav Canada supplying ATC to a privately owned airport? This is another example of milking the taxpayers!!!!
